My mother, sweet Caroline
As we approach Christmas Day, the fourth one without you, it doesn’t get any easier. In fact, it gets harder. You were Christmas. As a single mother, you made it so special for us growing up. And as I got older, I was so happy to return the favour, and loved seeing your face light up and watching you open your presents. Your courage and the way you carried yourself through your battle with MSA, will always inspire me. We’ll remember your smile forever mum, and you will always be Sweet Caroline.
